A New Start

The last six months of my life were a bit of a whirlwind. Everything was turned upside down and inside out. The great thing about things like this happening is the fact that you get to make a new start afterward.

I'm glad to say that everything is going really well in my life write now. I'm taking business and marketing courses to "upgrade" my skills and I'm getting my writing and marketing careers back on track.

Writing and marketing work well as a dual career too because of the fact that you can't really have one without the other. Learning to do both really puts you ahead of the game, especially these days when you can't really depend on the publishers to do your marketing for you (unless of course you're already one of their best selling authors).

I decided a while back that if I had to do all the work, I wanted to get all the pay... that's why I've decided to self-publish. Sure it's probably the harder route, but that has never stopped me. I'm not afraid of hard work... in fact, I relish it!
