Lists Are Good

This morning I worked on a "schedule" of sorts; A checklist for working on Shadow Stalker. It helped me to put into perspective what needs to be done, how long everything will take, and it also allowed me to come up with a tentative release date for Shadow Stalker. I won't be mentioning that just yet, but I will say it will be late some time next year.

I've been doing a lot of research on everything I'll need to do to successfully publish and launch my novel. This time I'm doing it right and not trying to rush it.

My first goal is to write an outline for the entire series and I expect that will take about a month. Wish me luck! :-D

Back to Blogging

I've finally gotten all my blogs set up (they're listed in the sidebar on case you're interested). Well they may need some minor tweaking here and there, but they're up and running.

It's been a while since I've blogged regularly like this. I can't believe how much I've missed it.

I've also signed up with Twitter again. I'll be setting up a follow me widget, but I'm on my phone atm, so you can follow me @reneescatts. I love this though. Blogging from my phone. Technology is awesome, isn't it? I really can't wait to get my laptop!

Blog Mania

I just finished reading a book on blogging. I love blogging... which I suppose makes sense since I'm a writer. When I first started this blog it was with the intent that I would share everything I love about reading and writing here. The book author suggested that to be a bad idea, though. He suggested having a blog for each area of interest so that the readers of each blog wouldn't be forced to sift through posts to find ones that interest them. So I'm currently in the process of doing just that.

This blog is going to be dedicated to my writings and blatherings about the process. If you have other reading and writing interests as I do, I hope you will take the time to check out my other blogs, which are being listed in the sidebar and can also be viewed in my profile.

The Female Hero

Originally Shadow Stalker had a male protagonist, but recently (and with prior advice from a friend) I've decided to go female...

Yeah, the world can use some more female heroes!

Needless to stay the story is going through some changes, but the main plot is staying the same. The ideas that have been coming to me since deciding to make this change have been causing a bit of vertigo. :-)

It feels really good to be writing again.
